ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for implementing family service activities at the center level; ensuring compliance with funding source and agency regulations; implementing a system for parent engagement activities; working with staff, clients and representatives of other agencies in organizing and conducting community activities. 
• Assumes responsibility for primary health care of assigned children at the center level in states where applicable. 
• Provides input and training to staff and parents on health, safety, nutrition, first aide, CPR, sanitation, proper handling of body fluids, the use of gloves and other procedures in states where applicable

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree (Associates or higher) in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field required*. 
• Knowledge of community resources required. Two years of experience working with social services targeted towards children required. 
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Bilingual ability in English/Spanish required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required. No citations for child abuse or neglect. Outreach experience desirable. 
• Extensive travel and flexible hours required. 
• Leadership experience preferred. Proficient in public speaking.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• He/she must be able to pass a Physical and TB test, or TB assessment, in compliance with the state where the employee works. He/she must be able to pass pre-employment and routine drug screening where mandated by program requirements. 
• Ability to: travel; communicate effectively; analyze and solve problems; use personal computer; sit for extended periods; work extended hours; perform multiple tasks; meet deadlines; lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds on occasion; and, frequent public speaking.
