- This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting or Radio/TV/Film - Some experience in show production and/or technical operations is necessary
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- Good organizational and project coordination skills are needed.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook are required.
- Experience editing on Final Cut Pro or Avid is required.
- Knowledge of ENG camera operation is necessary.
- Familiarity with remote production is preferred.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays is necessary.
- Must be able to perform in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and a desire to consistently deliver high-quality work is a requirement.
Description of this Job Post :
- FOX Sports Arizona is searching for a Production Assistant to join their team. The Production Assistant is responsible for supporting live remote production, ENG field production and in-house tape production. Duties include editing features and highlights, logging post game sound and features within live events and in pre-production for original programming. Responsibilities also include cataloging and archiving media, making video clips for the web site and providing general research and production support for producers.
The Responsibilities of this Job Post are:
- Supporting live remote production logging ENG footage and identifying elements for playback.
- Editing highlights and feature elements for event production and original programming.
- Provide production support to web site - clipping features and interviews.
- Gather show elements by using ENG shoot tapes, feed tapes and event records. Catalog and archive media as necessary.
- Contribute show ideas during meetings.
