Entry level, non-trainee, supports OSP installation and/or maintenance, assists in the maintenance of switch/cell/network equipment and/or the installation, rearrangement and removal of equipment and associated wiring at the customer site or at company location. Assists in the testing, location, and repair of equipment problems associated with trouble reports and performs routine maintenance on switch.
Assists in testing and adjusting equipment as necessary. This is an entry level position requiring 2 years or less of I & M experience and some prior exposure to the telecommunications or cable industry. Typically reports to first or second level management. Supervisory: NO

This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T's compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
